Therefore, the foundation of our training is from the below statement:

Every church should be a training school for Christian workers. Its members should be taught how to give Bible readings, how to conduct and teach Sabbath-school classes, how best to help the poor and to care for the sick, how to work for the unconverted. There should be schools of health, cooking schools, and classes in various lines of Christian help work. {MH 149.2}

The format of the Training is based on Christ’s three-fold ministry of teaching, preaching, and healing in addition to the publishing work:

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. KJV — Matthew 9:35

We have come to a time when every member of the church should take hold of medical missionary work. 7T 62.1

How can this be accomplished?

With the urgency of the time, there is need of fast-track intensive training. This training provides you an overall view of the work in its entirety. It will help you to develop the mindset of a Medical Missionary with an emphasis on the spiritual.

The work of the true medical missionary is largely a spiritual work. {CH 540.4}

In this 10-day intensive training, it is our desire to put you in the best position possible to be motivated and equipped to fulfill the commission of Christ to “go ye into all the world and preach the gospel”.
